Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 10 am from the Zion Lutheran Church in Schulenburg, Texas. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 pm on Monday, September 7, 2015 from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Interment will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, La Grange, Texas

The family is requesting memorials be made to the Zion Lutheran Church, 103 Keuper Ave, Schulenburg, Texas 78956 or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include: husband-Herbert Niemeyer of Schulenburg; Daughters-Cindy Wooten of Katy and Linda Niemeyer/husband Sam Park of Japan; son-David Niemeyer/wife Ginny of Pearland; sisters-Frances Korenek of Schulenburg, Edna Hasserd/husband Richard of New Braunfels and Ann Draskovich of Springfield, MO; brother Ivan Korenek/wife Ruby of Freyburg; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
