Funeral services will be held at the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10 am.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Friday, September 27, at the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm.

Interment will be in the Schulenburg City Cemetery in Schulenburg, Texas.

Survivors include:  daughters-Nellwyn Petter/husband Ronny of Schulenburg and Karen Owens/husband Jim of Pasadena; son-Harlan Jochen/wife Joette of Navasota; brother-in-law-Jerome Kolek of Plantersville; one niece and several nephews; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

The family has requested donations be made to:  St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, High Hill, Texas; or St. Rose Catholic Church, Schulenburg, Texas; or a charity of one's choice.
