Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 11 am from St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 9 am Thursday at the Church, with the Parish rosary to follow at 10:30 am.

Interment will be in St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg, Texas.

Survivors include:  daughter-Cheryl Shimek of Pasadena; son-Donnie Shimek/wife Melissa of Pasadena; sisters-Josephine Novak of Port Lavaca and Helen Kalisek of Houston; brothers-John Kalisek of Rosenberg and Eugene Kalisek of Rosenberg; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
