Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11 am from St. Mary's Catholic Church in High Hill, Texas.

Visitation will begin Thursday at the Church starting at 9 am, with the Parish rosary to follow at 10:30 am.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, with Full Military Honors to be conducted at the graveside by the Schulenburg American Legion.

The family requests donations be made to:  St. Mary's Catholic Church Restoration Fund; or the Polka Lover's Club; or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include:  wife-Mildred Hollas of Schulenburg; daughter-Janice Simons/husband Steve of Schulenburg; son-Gerald Hollas/wife Linda of Magnolia; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers-Alvin Hollas of Houston, Robert Hollas/wife Alice of Schulenburg, Winfred Hollas/wife Carol Ann of Rosenberg, and Richard Hollas/wife Barbara of Houston; sisters-in-law-Rose Hollas of Houston and Paula Hollas of Schulenburg.
