Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 9 am at St.Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas.

Visitation will begin after 5 pm Friday, November 18 at Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, with the Parish rosary to follow at 7 pm.

Burial will be in the Praha Catholic Cemetery in Praha, Texas.

The family requests donations be made to:  St. Rose Catholic Church, Schulenburg, Texas; or the American Heart Association; or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include:  husband-Alphonse Pokluda of Schulenburg; daughters-Theresa Pavlica/husband Michael of Flatonia, Deborah Friedrich/husband Ewald Jr of Weimar, and Monica Pfughaupt/husband Lee of Houston; son-Richard Pokluda/wife Kristin of Whitesboro; sisters-Helen Schaefer of Flatonia and Irene Bartek/husband JD of Flatonia; brothers-Charlie Vrana, Jr/wife Carol of Flatonia, Johnny Vrana/wife Malisia of Forth Worth, Bonnie Vrana/wife Sharon of Flatonia, and Randy Vrana/wife Sian of Fort Worth; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
