The funeral services for Mrs. Bernice M. Surman, age 79, of Schulenburg, Texas will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 10 am. Visitation will begin to the public at 6:30 pm at the St. Rose Catholic Church with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7:30 pm from St. Rose Catholic Church. Entombment will be in the St. Rose Mausoleum in Schulenburg.

Survivors include: husband, Ernest Surman of Schulenburg; 2 daughters--Sandy Hill and husband, Roy of Sugarland and Ernestine Dach and husband, Anton of Trinity; 3 sons--Ernest Surman, Jr., of Houston, Mark Surman and wife, Suzette of Schulenburg, Ray Surman and wife, Kim of Katy; 13 grandchildren; and13 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ludvik R. and Pauline Kloesel Krenek, and 1 great grandchild.
