The funeral services for Mrs. Bernice Vasek, age 85 of Schulenburg, Texas, will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 2 pm from St. John Catholic Church in St. John, Texas.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Sunday, December 14, 2014, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, Texas.

Interment will be in the St. John Catholic Cemetery, St. John, Texas.

Survivors include: 2 daughters--Caroline Mazoch and fiance Jimmy Sumbera of La Grange, Texas and Theresa Elzoery and husband Moody of Pasadena,Texas;
3 sisters--Janet Vyvlecka of Davis, California, Patsy Miksch and husband Leroy of Cypress, Texas and Shirley Kirks and husband Steve of Red Rock, Texas; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband George; daughter Barbara; 1 grandson and 3 brothers.
