Obituary

Charles Oliver Orelup was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on January 8, 1936, to Frank and Mildred Orelup. He is the younger brother to sisters Lillian, Ann, and Nancy. He had a keen analytical mind, and received a degree in engineering from Oklahoma University. After working for several large operations, he created his own water treatment and servicing company, WETS, Inc., that proudly served scores of Texas municipalities for over 40 years.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Schulenburg, Texas, and was a dedicated family man. He fathered four sons: Lowell, Kirk, and Steve by his first wife, the late Harriette Orelup, and son, Jay, by his second wife, Ludmilla Orelup. He is survived by his four sons; ten grandchildren; sister, Lillian Braden; and extended family, all of whom he was very proud.
