The funeral services for Mr. Charles R. Phillipus, age 85, of Ammannsville, Texas, will be held from the Ammannsville Catholic Church in Ammannsville, Texas, on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 2 pm. Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Sunday, February 9 from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home. The Parish rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7 pm from the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Ammannsville Catholic Cemetery in Ammannsville, Texas.

Survivors include: wife, Joy Lee Phillipus of Schulenburg; daughters, Nancy Leer and husband, Mike of Ammannsville and Karen Carroll and husband, John of Weimar; brothers, Leo Phillipus and wife, Shirley of Houston and Jerome Phillipus and wife, Allene of Flatonia; and 4 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Julianna Zweschper Phillipus; 4 brothers and a granddaughter.
