Funeral services will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 10 am.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm Monday, August 15, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm from the Funeral Home.

Entombment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Mausoleum in Schulenburg, Texas.  Full military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the Schulenburg American Legion.

The family requests donations be made to:  St. Rose Catholic Church or School, Schulenburg, Texas; or Hospice of South Texas, Hallettsville, Texas; or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include:  wife-Evelyn Valicek Besetsny of Schulenburg; daughters-Patsy Canion of Schulenburg, Annette Walker of Schulenburg and Lynn Heller/husband David of Schulenburg; son-David Besetsny/Penny Beiersdorfer of Schulenburg; daughter-in-law-Pam Besetsny of St. John; sister-Jeanette Terrell of Austin; brother-James Besetsny of Victoria; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter; son; 3 grandchildren; 1 sister; and 1 brother.
