Memorial services will be held at Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home, Schulenburg, Texas, on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
The family requests contributions be made to: Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter in La Grange, TX; or a charity of one's choice.
Survivors:  Brother-Jerry Simek, Jr; Cousins – Rebecca Jaco Hoyland, Doris Jaco Smith, Bill Jaco, Wayne Powell, Michael Powell, Jodie Bawcom and James Vackar.
He is preceded in death by his Parents-Albina and Jerry Simek; Cousin-Gloria Jaco Lotz.
