Deborah
Walker
Jul 13, 1950 — Jul 13, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Debbie Walker, who was born on July 13, 1950, in Galveston, Texas, and passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. On the very day she celebrated her 76th birthday, Debbie's earthly journey came full circle. While her family grieves her loss, they find comfort knowing she is now wrapped in the arms of Jesus, rejoicing in the peace and love she knewawaited her.
Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, James Walker; parents, Godfrey and Jean Tacquard; siblings, Joe Wilson, Joyce Whiddon, and Judy Rathjen; and her mother-in-law, Doris Walker.
She is survived by her son, Richard Irwin, and his wife Leanne; daughter, Terri Bailey; and grandchildren, Amberlee Reeves, Kody Andrews and his wife Ashley, Colin Irwin and his wife Devyn, Cade Irwin and his wife Samantha, and Alex Vasquez. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Coy Phillips, Breena Hillier, Rylie Irwin, Riott Ragle, Loegan Irwin, Adeline Irwin, and Stetson Irwin; along with many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who were truly like family.
Debbie had a heart as big as Texas. She loved her family fiercely, treasured her friends, and never missed an opportunity to bring people together. Her laughter was contagious, her smile could brighten any room, and she truly was the life of the party.
To her grandchildren, she was the craziest grandma anyone could ever hope for. She loved making memories, sharing adventures, and making every moment special. Her love was unconditional, her generosity knew no bounds, and her vibrant spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the gift of Debbie's life and the countless ways she made the world brighter. Her legacy lives on in the love she inspired, and the family and friends who will carry her memory forever.
Debbie will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
