Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Jares, age 84, of Schulenburg, Texas will be held from the First Baptist Church in Schulenburg on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10 am.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg.

Interment will be in the Pitman Cemetery in Muldoon, Texas.

Survivors include: daughter-Carol Friedrich/husband Dwayne of Freyburg; sons-Howard Jares/wife Donna of Bellaire and Steve Jares/wife Stella of Houston; brother-Raymond Kocian/wife Christy of Tomball; special friend-Carol Olson of High Hill; and 5 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband-Alton; 1 sister; and 1 brother.
