Private funeral services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 10 am from St. Mary's Catholic Church in High Hill, Texas.

Visitation to the public will be from 4 to 6 pm at St. Mary's Church on Friday, January 29, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 6 pm.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in High Hill, Texas.

The family requests donations be made to: St. Mary's Catholic Church, High Hill (2833 FM 2672 Schulenburg, Texas 78956).

Survivors include:  daughters-Patricia Petersen/husband Ron and Isabel Litzmann/husband Larry; sons-Bob Schmidt/wife Marcy, Donald Schmidt/wife Jill, James Schmidt/wife Sheila, and David Schmidt/wife Donna; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents-Henry and Annie Bludau; husband-Leo J. Schmidt; sister-Ruth Meyer; and brothers-Henry Bludau and Jacob Bludau.
