Services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 10 am from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 9:30 am.  Visitation will begin Thursday morning at 9 am from the church.  Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, with full Military honors to be conducted by the Schulenburg American Legion.

The family requests donations be made to:  St. Rose Church or School or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include:  wife-Dolores Vacek of Schulenburg; daughters-Suzanne Housewright and Debra Martin/husband Michael; son-Michael Vacek/wife Beth; step-daughters-Judy Franke/husband Larry and Annette Guenther; step-sons-Philip Guenther/wife Kathy, Thomas Guenther/wife Frances and Jimmy Guenther/wife Johanna; 6 grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 12 step-great grandchildren.
