Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 10 am from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas.  The Altar Society and Parish rosary will be recited at 9:30 am prior to the funeral.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm Tuesday, November 5 from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, Texas.

Burial will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg.

The family has requested donations be made to:  Schulenburg Regency Nursing Home Activity Fund; or Hospice of South Texas; or College Place Activity Fund; or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include:  sons-Erwin Skalka, Jr./wife Babette of La Grange and Gary Skalka/wife Miranda of Freyburg; 2 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
