The funeral services for Mr. Elreed Dittrich, age 85 of Schulenburg, Texas, will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 10 am.

Visitation will begin to the public after 4:30 pm on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg. The Schulenburg American Legion and VFW Memorial services will be held at 6:30 pm, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm.

Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg. The Schulenburg VFW and American Legion will conduct full military honors at the cemetery.

The family requests donations be made to: St. Rose Catholic Church or St. Rose School, Schulenburg, Texas; or the Hospice of South Texas, Hallettsville, Texas; or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include: wife-Lillie Dittrich of Schulenburg; daughters-Loretta Ulrich/husband Mark of La Grange, Verlene Ulrich/husband Eugene of La Grange, and Normagene Petras/husband Mike La Grange; brother Milton Dittrich/wife Joyce of Houston; sister-in-law-Helen Dittrich of Weimar; son-in-law-Gary Bayer/wife Gina of Smithville; 7 grandsons; and 10 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 daughters; and 1 brother.
