Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11 am from Dubina Catholic Church in Dubina, Texas.

Visitation will begin at the Church at 10 am Friday to the public.

Interment will follow in the Dubina Catholic Cemetery.

Survivors include:  daughter-Nancy Olmos/husband Jacob of Dubina; son-Ernest "Ernie" Matura, Jr of Dubina; 3 sisters-Evelyn Meyer of Schulenburg, Gladys Machicek of Schulenburg, and Edith Hartensteiner of Sugarland; and 3 grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents-Henry Matura and Vlasta Valicek, wife-Suzanne, brothers-Eugene and Erwin Matura.
