Funeral services will be held Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10 am at St. John the Baptist Church in Ammannsville, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 5 pm Sunday, September 8, 2019 at the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, Texas, with the Parish rosary to follow at 7 pm.

Burial will be in the Dubina Catholic Cemetery in Dubina, Texas.

Survivors include:  daughter-Roxanne Bartek/husband Darren of Sealy, Texas; son-Walter Matura/wife Virginia of Ammannsville, Texas; sisters-Evelyn Meyer of Schulenburg, Texas, Gladys Machick of Schulenburg, Texas and Edith Hartensteiner of Sugarland, Texas; brothers-Eugene Matura of Katy, Texas and Ernest Matura of Dubina, Texas; and 4 grandchildren-Laci, Jenna, Clay and Colton.
