A graveside service for Eugene "Gene" Patrick Sutton, Jr., of Hallettsville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Hallettsville.

Gene is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pam Sutton; daughter, Tanya Pierce and husband Damon; daughter, Traci Phillips and husband Jeff; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Sutton and wife Francis; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Dorothy Haynes Sutton.
