Memorial services for Mrs. Evelyn Meyer, age 85, of Schulenburg, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg. The parish rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. from the church. Inurnment will be private in St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Thomas Meyer and wife Virginia; daughters, Geraldine Meyer, Jackie Meyer, Shanna Winkler and husband Ronnie; grandchildren, Ty and Samantha Winkler, Shae Winkler, Allison and Cody Childs, Blake Meyer; great-grandchildren, Cade Childs, and Troy Winkler; and sister, Gladys Machicek.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Meyer; parents, Henry and Vlasta Matura; siblings, Eugene Matura, Erwin Matura, Ernest Matura, and Edith Hartensteiner
