Funeral Services for Frank Cernoch, age 98, of Holman, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Holman, with Fr. Luke Prihoda serving as Celebrant. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. from the church. Interment will follow in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in Holman.

Frank Cernoch passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026. Born and raised in Holman, Frank lived a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and great-great-uncle who dedicated his life to caring for those he loved, tending the family farm, and serving his Catholic faith.

Frank was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Vladimir and Annie Cernoch; his brothers, Bennie Cernoch and John Cernoch; and his sister, Sister Adriana Cernoch.

He is survived by his loving brother, Vladimir Jr. Cernoch and wife, Marie, of Hallettsville, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and many other cherished relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Frank Cernoch may be made to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.

Frank's legacy of faith, dedication, and love for family will be remembered and treasured by all who knew him.
