The funeral services for Mr. Frank Kurtin, age 94 of Flatonia, Texas, will be held from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 10 am. Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Thursday, September 19, with the parish rosary to be recited Thursday evening at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, Texas. Interment will be from the Praha Catholic Cemetery, Praha, Texas.

Survivors include: 2 sisters, Edith Kurtin and Babs Kurtin of Granger, Texas; 1 brother Johnny Kurtin of Granger; brothers-in law, James Mulholland and wife Betty of Schulenburg, Dean Hunt of Flatonia, and Westly Hajda of Granger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josef and Aneska Mickalek Kurtin; and wife, Mary Kurtin.
