Funeral services will be held from the Moravia Catholic Church  in Moravia, Texas on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 2 pm.

Visitation will begin at 11 am Wednesday at the Church, with the Parish rosary to be recited prior to the mass at 1:30pm.

Interment will be in the Moravia Catholic Cemetery in Moravia, Texas.

The family requests donations be made to the Moravia Catholic Church.

Survivors include:  mother-Adela Filip of Moulton; wife-Henrietta Filip of Moravia; daughters-Bridget Hrachovy/husband Laddie of Schulenburg and Valerie Ling of Noble OK; sisters-Dorothy Young/husband David of Moravia, Rose Ann Brosh/husband Tommy  of Moravia, Kathy Pilat/husband Pat of Moravia and Donna Filip/spouse Brenda of Moravia; brother-Edward Filip of Moravia; 7grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father-Marvin Filip.
