Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 11am from
the Swiss Alp Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Swiss Alp, Tx. Visitation will begin to the public after 9:30am Wednesday from the
church. Full military honors will be conducted by the Schulenburg VFW and American Legion. Lyons Lodge # 195 AF&AM will also conduct services at the church. Graveside services will be at 3pm Wednesday
from the Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston. Survivors include: wife-Marguerite Hagens of Schulenburg; daughter-Denise Beard/husband Roy of Round Rock; sister-Lillian Zimmermann/husband-Gilbert of Georgetown; sister-n-law- Oney Hagens of Shiner; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Parents, wife-Dorothy and 2 brothers.
