Hans-Peter Engelbrecht Ryholt, long-time resident of Swiss Alp, passed September 23, 2018 in Katy, Texas.  He was a member of the United Evangelical Lutheran Church of Swiss Alp, where he served as Council Chair Person.  In addition, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Schulenburg, and a Life Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Hans-Peter was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on July 14, 1962.  He was the oldest of two children born to Hans Ryholt and Brigitte Taul.  He graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1981.  He attended Texas A & M University and The University of Houston where he obtained his Electrical Engineering Degree in 1998.  He most recently served as President and CEO of Eddy Packing.

He is survived by his two daughters-Samantha Ryholt of Nashville, TN; and Victoria Craven and her husband Matt of San Antonio, TX.  He is also survived by his siblings-Henrik Ryholt of Frisco, TX; Nina Grande and her husband Andrew of League City, TX; Kim Ryholt and his wife Akuffo of Copenhagen, Denmark; Christian Ryholt and his wife Valerie of League City, TX; Fay Tudor and her husband Reed of Nassau Bay, TX; Richard Ryholt of Pasadena, TX; Joey Ryholt of Dallas, TX; and Jesse Ryholt and his wife Linda of Seabrook, TX.

Memorial services will be held from the Swiss Alp United Evangelical Lutheran Church located at 2038 FM 3171, Schulenburg, Texas, on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 10 am.

The family requests donations be made to the United Evangelical Lutheran Church, Swiss Alp.
