Funeral services for Helen Frances Balcar will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1 pm from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 5 pm on Friday, January 11, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg.

Interment will be in the Queen of The Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Hostyn, Texas.

Survivors include:  sisters-Sylvia Hudson (Balcar) of Catonsville, Maryland and Joan Balcar of Austin; nieces-Jean Gilliss of Paso Robles, California and Linda Hutchinson of Catonsville, Maryland; and nephew-John Hudson, Jr. of Sykesville, Maryland.

She is preceded in death by her parents-Joseph and Rosalie Balcar (Vasek) and brother-in-law-John Hudson, Sr.

The family requests donations be made to the Humane Society.
