Funeral Services for Henry Frank Pauler, age 95, of Schulenburg, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg. The family will receive friends beginning at 8:30 a.m. from the chapel. Interment will follow in Schulenburg City Cemetery.

Henry was born on May 22, 1929, in Old Kinkler in Lavaca County, Texas, to parents, Frank and Agnes Schillab Pauler. On August 31, 1950, he married Evelyn Schroeder and together, they had three children. He was a lifelong resident of Schulenburg.

Henry is survived by his wife of 74 years, Evelyn Pauler; daughter, Sharon Schaefer; son, Harvey Pauler and his wife, Susan; son, Gary Pauler; grandchildren, Kari, David, Jeff, Justin, Jonathan, Kyle, and Kathryn; 12 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Agnes Hertel, Martha Sommer, Edna Skypala, and Emma Schley; and son-in-law, Eugene Schaefer.

Pallbearers will be Calvin Sommer, Jonathan Pauler, Justin Pauler, Chris Simpson, David Schaefer, and Hymie Duarte. Kyle Cordes will be an honorary pallbearer.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Texas, First Methodist Church of Schulenburg, or a charity of your choice.
