Funeral services will be held from the St. Mary's Catholic Church in High Hill, Texas on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 2 pm.
Visitation will begin at the Church Monday at noon, with the Parish and Knights of Columbus rosary to be recited prior to the mass at 1:30 pm.
Interment will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in High Hill, Texas.
The family requests donations be made to: Hospice Brazos Valley; or the American Cancer Society; or High Hill Restoration Fund; or a charity of one's choice.
Survivors include: wife-Betty Zapalac of Schulenburg; daughters-Kimberly Zapalac of La Grange and Paula Self/husband Scott of Moulton; sons-Henry Zapalac, Jr./wife Megan of Schulenburg, Donald Zapalac/wife Melissa of Schulenburg, Patrick Zapalac/wife Callene of La Grange, and Paul Zapalac/wife Amber of Schulenburg; sister-Agnes Koch/husband Eddie of Moravia; brothers-Julius Zapalac/wife Edith of Muldoon, Herman Zapalac/wife Irene of Marlin, and Michael Zapalac/wife Jennifer of La Grange; sisters-in-law-Karen Zapalac of New Taiton, Janette Koncaba of Moulton, and Eileen Berckenhoff/husband George of Schulenburg; brothers-in-laws-Walter Raabe. Jr./wife-Jeanette of Muldoon; Jerry Raabe/wife Charlene of Moulton and Daniel Raabe/wife Anne of Moulton.
He is preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law; infant daughter; 1 brother; 2 sisters-in-law; and 4 brothers-in-law.
