Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 10am from the St. Rose Catholic Church, in Schulenburg.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5pm on Tuesday, with the parish rosary to be recited at 7pm from the funeral

home.  Interment will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, in High Hill, Tx.  Survivors include:  daughter-Rachelle Vento/

husband-Michael of Houston; sons-Roger Blaschke/Wife-Deana of Bastrop; Rodney Blaschke/wife-Jana of Schulenburg;

sisters-Lillian Schwenke of Schulenburg and Adela Kubos of Schulenburg; 3 grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents,

wife-Gladys Haba Blaschke, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.  The family has requested donations be made to:  The Bishop Forest Museum @

Blinn College, Schulenburg, Tx or St. Rose Catholic School, Schulenburg, Tx or Hospice of South Texas, Hallettsville, Tx

or a charity of one's choice.
