Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11am from the St. John Catholic Church in St. John, Tx.  Visitation will begin to the public after 9:30am on Saturday from the St. John Catholic Church, with the rosary recited prior to the mass at 10:30am.  Burial will follow in the St. John Catholic Cemetery, with full military honors conducted by the Schulenburg American Legion.  The family requests donations be made to the St. John Catholic Church or a charity of one's choice.  Survivors include:  daughters-Donna Hartmann of Columbus and Barbara Bayer/husband Allen of Schulenburg; son-in-law-Chuck Meyer of Schulenburg; sister-Hilda Henneke of Schulenburg; brother-Joe Pauler of Houston; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
