Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Bucek, age 88, of Schulenburg, Texas will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10 am.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Friday, June 3, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm from the Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg, Texas.

The family requests donations be made to: The Polka Lovers Club of Texas Museum, La Grange, Texas or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include: daughter-Kathy Dorsett/husband Gerial of Angleton; son-Gary Bucek/wife Carol of Pearland; sisters-Joyce Bohuslav/husband Billy of Austin and Jane Freis of Weimar; 3 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband-Oscar; and a sister.
