Funeral services will be held from St. Mary's Catholic Church in High Hill, Texas on Monday, January 2, 2023 at 11 am.

Visitation will begin at the Church at 9 am Monday, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 10:30am.

Interment will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in High Hill, Texas.

The family requests donations be made to:  St. Rose School; St. Mary's High Hill Restoration Fund; Hospice of Brazos Valley; or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include:  wife-Carolyn Prihoda; daughters-Lisa Meysembourg/husband Mark, Michele Prihoda/Charlie Boldt, Theresa Janak/husband Bradley, Andrea Pope/husband Tim, Vivian Mendel/husband Greg, Joanna Rogers/husband Paul, Juliana Prihoda/David Deen, Sara Southerland/Raul Olvera, Marianna Measom/husband Russell, and Carmela Tribble/husband Sean; sons-Gregory Prihoda/wife Shelley, Matthew Prihoda/wife Shantelle, Patrick Prihoda/wife Stephanie, Samuel Prihoda/wife Allison, Joseph Prihoda/wife Lisa, and Anthony Prihoda/wife Veronica; 68 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister-Dorothy Bacak/husband Leslie; brothers-Bill Prihoda/wife Irene and Raymond Prihoda/wife Sherri; sister-in-law-Joan Prihoda; brothers-in-law-Leo Wick/wife Barbara, Frank Wick, Jr./wife Jearline and Basil Ermis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his daughter-Monica; parents- William and Mary Srubar Prihoda; parents-in-law Frank and Ottilia Wick; brother-Johnny Prihoda; sister-in-law-Annie Ermis; and sons-in-law-Michael Norrell and Richard Southerland.
