The funeral services for Miss Janie Kallus, age 86 of Schulenburg, Texas, will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 2 pm. Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Sunday, January 12. The American Legion Auxiliary Memorial services will be at 6:30 pm with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Chapel in Schulenburg. Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg, Texas.

Survivors include: sister, Leona Hoelscher of Weimar and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rudolf and Mary Holub Kallus; one sister and one brother.
