The funeral services for Mr. John Matula, age 82 of Schulenburg, Texas, will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas, on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10 am.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Friday, May 1, 2015, with the Schulenburg American Legion and VFW memorial services to be held at 6:30 pm and the Parish rosary to follow at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg.

Entombment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg. Full Military honors will be conducted at the Cemetery by the Schulenburg American Legion and VFW.

Survivors include: wife-Annie Matula of Schulenburg; daughter-Connie Taylor/husband David of Schulenburg; son-Stephen Matula/wife Lisa of Schulenburg; brothers-Ben Matula of Shiner and Dennis Matula of Shiner; and 5 grandchildren.
