Funeral Services for John Toney, age 76, of San Antonio, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel. Interment will follow in Freiburg Cemetery in Freyburg with full military honors conducted by the Schulenburg American Legion Post 143.

John is survived by his wife, Rebecca Hickson; daughter, Jennifer Fogg and husband Chad; son, Jason Toney; grandchildren, Christian Fogg, Josalyn Toney, Kaitlyn Toney, Rowan Toney, Jacob Hickson, and Lexi Hickson; sister, Ann Raborn; as well as niece and nephews, James Raborn and wife Amber, Lori Stewart and husband Dustin, Allen Raborn and Heather, Wesley Ehlers and partner Keith Hair, Woody Phillips and wife Patty.
