Funeral Services for Josephine Zappe Klesel, age 91, of Schulenburg, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the parish rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery.

Josephine is survived by her daughter, Shirley and Donnie Machicek of Schulenburg; daughter, Sandra and Vince Gallegos of Cypress; son, Leroy and Patricia Klesel of Hallettsville; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence H. Klesel; and sister, Leona Anders.

Pallbearers will be Logan Mixon, Aaron Klesel, Justin Klesel, Cody Pavlicek, Austin Mousner, Dustin Machicek, and Lance Machicek.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Texas, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, or Hermann Sons.
