Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Barta, age 87 of Houston, Texas will be held from the Ammannsville Catholic Church in Ammannsville, Texas on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10 am.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5:30 pm on Thursday, July 6, 2017, with the Parish rosary to follow at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, Texas.

Burial will be in the Ammannsville Catholic Cemetery in Ammansville, Texas.

Survivors include: daughter-Joy Caka/husband Robert of Houston; sons-Tim Barta of Ammannsville and Chris Barta/wife Sandra of North Carolina; daughter-in-law- Mary Barta of Katy; sister-in-law-Annie Mae Beiersdorfer of Houston; 7 grandchildren;and 7 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George; son-George A. Barta III; brother-Vernon Beiersdorfer; and great grandson-Robert Evan Capuchino.
