The funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Valchar, age 75, of Schulenburg, Texas, will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 10 am. Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Monday, August 11 with the Parish rosary to follow at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg. Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery.

Survivors include: husband, Johnnie Valchar of Schulenburg; 2 daughters, Linda Valchar of Schulenburg and Peggy Willbanks of Schulenburg; 2 sons, Robert Valchar of Oakland and Gary Valchar and wife Phyllis of Schulenburg; sister, Shirley Polka and husband Gary of Austin; brother, Daniel Jahn and wife Marilyn of Hallettsville; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law.
