Funeral services for Mr. Julius Valicek, age 95, of Edna/El Campo, Texas will be held from the St. John Catholic Church in St. John, Texas on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10:30 am.

Visitation will begin at the Church prior to the mass at 9 am, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 10 am.

Interment will be in the St. John Catholic Cemetery in St. John, Texas. Full military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Schulenburg VFW and American Legion.

Survivors include: wife-Estelle Valicek of El Campo, Texas; daughters-Marian Peter/husband Norman of El Campo, Texas, Rosalie Clark/husband Rusty of Orange Grove, Texas, Virginia Peters/husband Louis of Louise, Texas, Diane Gray/husband Keith of Santa Fe, Texas and Julia Smales/husband Terry of Anchorage, Alaska; son-George Valicek/wife Pamela of Houston, Texas; sister Evelyn Besetsny/husband Clarence of Schulenburg, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, 4 sisters and a brother.
