Funeral services for Mr. Ladik Valicek, age 99, of St. John, Texas will be held from the St. John Catholic Church in St. John, Texas on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10 am.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Friday, January 12 from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm.

Interment will be in the St. John Catholic Cemetery in St. John, Texas. Full military honors will be conducted by the Schulenburg VFW and American Legion at the graveside.

Survivors include: daughters-Catherine Loyd/husband Craig of Sublime and Charlene Tobola/husband Marvin of Edna; son-Alan Valicek/wife Janice of Friendswood; sister-Evelyn Besetsny/husband Clarence of Schulenburg; brother-Julius Valicek/wife Estelle of El Campo; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
