Funeral services for LaNelle Bucek Carriero, age 95, of Schulenburg, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Schulenburg. Interment will follow in Schulenburg City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg.

LaNelle is survived by her daughters, Donna Bennett and husband Lloyd, Cathy Manzak and husband Phil, Caryn Johnson and husband Craig; son, David Carriero and wife Shari; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandsons; and brother, Bill Bucek.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
