The funeral services for Lawrence Friedrich, age 78 of Schulenburg, Texas will be held from the Zion Lutheran Church in Schulenburg on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 10 am. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm on Monday evening, June 17, 2013 from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg. Interment will be in the Salem-Freyburg Cemetery, Freyburg, Texas. The family requests donations be made to: Salem-Freyburg Cemetery Fund; the Zion Lutheran Church of Schulenburg; or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include: wife, Tracy Friedrich; sons, Michael Friedrich and wife, Cathy; Randy Friedrich; Steve Friedrich and wife, Vicki; and Mark Friedrich and wife, Sharlyne; sister, Bernice Goppert, all of Schulenburg; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Nelson and twin brother Clarence; and 1 sister, Myrtle.
