Funeral services for Mr. Leo Kainer, age 81, of High Hill, Texas will be held from St. Mary's Catholic Church in High Hill, Texas on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10 am.

Visitation will begin from the Church on Thursday, November 2, 2017 after 5 pm, with the Parish and Knights of Columbus rosary to be recited at 7 pm from the Church.

Interment will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in High Hill. Full military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Schulenburg American Legion and VFW.

The family requests donations be made to: St. Rose Catholic School, Schulenburg, Texas; or High Hill Restoration Fund, High Hill, Texas; or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include: wife-Virginia Kainer of High Hill; daughters-Sandra Shaw/husband Jack of Katy and Terri Kainer/husband Matthew of Katy; sons-James Kainer/wife Elizabeth of Cypress, Mark Kainer/wife Diane of Blanco and Roger Kainer/wife Susan of Canyon Lake; sister-Isabel Respondek/husband John of Lake Jackson; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.
