Funeral services will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 10:30 am.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Wednesday, April 10, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg.

Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg, Texas.

Survivors include:  daughters-Nancy Ross/husband Russell of Dripping Springs, Linda Veselka/husband Larry of Schulenburg, Lana Labay of Atlanta, Georgia, Rose Schoenfeld/husband Dennis of Austin, Carol Bludau/husband Laurence of Hallettsville, and Veronica Muhlstein/husband Dennis of St. John; sons-David Labay/wife Dolores of Conroe, Duane Labay/wife Jane of Hallettsville, and Douglas Labay of Hallettsville; sister-Irene Skuca of Nada; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, and a grandson.

The family has requested donations be made in honor of Mrs. Labay to The Raphael's Refuge, Turtle Wing Foundation, Schulenburg Regency Nursing Home Activity Fund, The Schulenburg American Legion, or a charity of one's choice.
