The funeral services for Mr. Leroy "Buddy" McBride, age 87 of Schulenburg, Texas, will be held from the St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Schulenburg on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 10 am. Visitation will begin at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, October 7, from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg. The American Legion memorial services will be held at 6:30 pm on Tuesday with the Prayer service to follow at 7 pm.

Interment will be in the Schulenburg City Cemetery, Schulenburg, Texas.

Survivors include: wife-Georgia McBride of Schulenburg; daughter-Debbie Darilek and husband Thomas of Flatonia; sons-Ronnie McBride and wife Kathy, Donnie McBride and wife Carlene, Gary McBride and wife Ann, and Shannon McBride and wife Kristi all of Schulenburg; sister-Rene Sustr of Schulenburg; sister-in-law-June Berger of Schulenburg; step-brother-Billy Mensik of Ammannsville; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and 1 grandson.
