Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 11am from the St. Rose Catholic Church, in Schulenburg, Tx.  Visitation will begin to the public after 9am Thursday morning from the church, with the Parish and Knights of Columbus rosary recited prior to the mass at 10:30am.  Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Schulenburg, Tx.  Survivors include:  daughters-Rose Ann Cernoch/husband-Daniel of La Grange; Joann Lebeda/husband-Bruce of Schulenburg; sons-Joseph "Joe" Schindler/wife Tanya of Schulenburg; Michael Schindler/wife-Debra of Schulenburg and John Schindler/wife-Misty of Schulenburg; brothers-Francis Schindler/wife-Jerlyn of Schulenburg and Daniel "Doc" Schindler/wife-Hilda of San Antonio; sister-in-law-Kathleen Schindler of Columbus; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, brother and a grandson.  The family request donations be made to:  The St. Rose Catholic School, Schulenburg, Tx or the Schulenburg FFA or a charity of one's choice.
