Funeral services for Mr. Leslie J. Sommer, age 78, of Schulenburg, Texas will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg on Thursday, Decemeber 15, 2016 at 10:30 am.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Wednesday, December 14, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg.

Entombment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Mausoleum in Schulenburg, Texas.

The family requests donations be made to: The Turtle Wing Foundation, Schulenburg, Texas; St. Rose School or Church, Schulenburg, Texas; or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include: daughter-Lisa Guentert/husband Terry of Schulenburg; sons-James Sommer/wife Melissa of Schulenburg and Brian Sommer/wife Kym of Schulenburg; sister-Vernell Ireland of Sugarland; and 7 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his Parents and wife-Adelle.
