Funeral services will be held from the St. John Catholic Church in St. John, Texas on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 3 pm.
Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Saturday, February 29, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 6:30 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, Texas.
Interment will be in the St. John Catholic Cemetery in St. John, Texas.
The family has requested donations be made to: The St. John Seminary Burse; or St. John Catholic Church; or The St. Rose Catholic School; or Sacred Heart Catholic School; or Hospice of South Texas; or a charity of one's choice.
Survivors include: daughters-Diane Holub/husband Milton of Katy, Theresa Eckhardt/husband Byron of Schulenburg, Mary Akers/husband James "Bubba" of Luling, and Joanie Krischke/husband Stuart of St. John; sons-Harvey Besetzny/wife Cathy of Houston, Andrew Besetzny of St. John, Mark Besetzny/wife Linda of Schulenburg, and Ralph Besetzny/wife Bonnie of St. John; sisters-Mary Ann Murphy/husband Francis of Dallas, Sister Bernarda Bludau of Victoria, and Irene Knebel/husband George of Hallettsville; brother-Frank Bludau/wife Bernadette of Hallettsville and Winfred Bludau/wife Ida Vivian of Hallettsville; 29 grandchildren;3 step grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband-Edgar; son-Kenneth; and 1 grandson.
