Funeral Services for Lillian Klesel, age 89, of Weimar, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, from St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Weimar. Interment will follow in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2026, with the rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. from Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg.

Lillian is survived by her children, Diane and Anthony Janda, Cynthia and Danny Marek, Barbara Kubesch, Susie and Douglas Behlen, Nancy Srubar, Mike and Dolly Klesel, and Jackie and Jack Shaw; grandchildren, Shawn Janda, Corey and BreAnne Marek, Amber and Brandon Kristynik, Kalum and Kristyn Marek, David Srubar, Amy Behlen, Cody and Thara Marek, Kristen and Wesley Chandler, Megan and Kevin Bartos, Arlene and Joshua Little, Kyle Marek, Aaron Kubesch, Brooke and Jordan Barrett, Eric and Blaise Kubesch, Allison and Robert Webre, and Kamie Klesel; 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Beatrice Shumbera; sisters-in-law, MaryAnn Muras and Peggy Muras; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Klesel; sons-in-law, Anton Kubesch and Andrew Srubar; parents, Frank and Emily Klecka Muras; and all of her siblings.
